About This Work
Carved around 2001 by Nozomu Mori, this Shō Kannon Bodhisattva is one of more than ten Shō Kannon sculptures created by the artist. The sculpture is accompanied by its original handcrafted Japanese hiba wood storage box, with a handwritten lid inscription by the artist.
