Artwork Characteristics Not Considered Defects

MORI CHOKOKUSHO artworks are individually hand-carved from natural wood using traditional Japanese carving techniques.

The following characteristics are inherent to natural materials and handcrafted artworks and are not considered defects:

• Variations in wood grain, color, texture, and dimensions

• Natural knots, markings, and characteristics of the wood

• Minor expansion, contraction, movement, or settling of the wood over time

• Natural aging-related cracks, separations, discoloration, staining, and other changes

• Variations resulting from hand-carving and traditional finishing techniques

These characteristics are part of the individuality and beauty of each artwork and are not grounds for return, refund, exchange, cancellation, or compensation.
